hey is the chasie built around the gearbox
it just woun't come out ...........the fan is aagainst the radiator, I have heard of doing it by rotating the box, but naa
I know I shouldn't start another thread but it was nothing like thed preceding changing clutch thread
I hav't even mentioned the wires that hang persistantly to the top of the fuck'n thing
It's the nephew's car and he's with me occassionaly' but not when needed

pull the gear box back as far as possible and let the front of the box down it may hit the pressure plate but you should be able to get it past  trty this let me know how you go

kindly to please read the thread on changing clutch, gearbox just does not
come out

did that, even jacked the back of the engine up......1 or2mm in it

In mine i need to remove the front driveshaft because of my exhuast location. then turn and twist it to the left... Just scrapes the pressure plate.
And if you putting a new clutch in, it wont matter if you damage the pressure plate...

Try jacking the front up...

ok i'll jack the front of the engine up in the morning.....took the front drive sharft off....guess I'll jack front up after I drop front of box...broke exhaust near transfer case, and pulls aside

They DO fit out, it a lil bit of a pain, but with luck you shouldn't havae to do it again for a while..
Have you removed the G/box mount & bracket off the g/box?? Make's a big difference..
