Just tried to start the motor.
Motor cranks strong, getting fuel (plugs wet) but no spark.
I have checked power etc and everything that needs it is getting a strong 12.4 volts.
I'm thinking crank sensor, but what do I check?
Thanks in advance.

Cam and crank sensor talk together. Not really sure on how to get engine codes. Never had a problem.. Some one else will pipe up

Got it going.
When it starts up it jumps to a real high idle around 4000 rpm. Anyone know why?

I disconnected the throttle cable and still the same. The butterfly is closed but still screams.

Let it run for a couple of minutes and the idle drops a little but still runs high.
Now it runs high then drops off, then high and off and keeps repeating.
Video on the way

Do you have an air temp sensor? I had one, but disconnected it because it would idle up and down, moody though. 3days out of 7. It also held a high idle at times..
Fuel economy was no different.(rich)

Yeah got the air temp sensor plugged in. Knowing that the motor ran well before I took it out of the baleno I want to keep all the sensors etc connected.
Anyway all fixed. Purrs like a kitten.
