Gday guys just finished wiring up brodies vit motor, however a slight issue. the motor turns over and does all the normal things, but the fuel pump wont activiate

As per the wiring diagram it shows the blue/white cable needs to head to the transmission control unit, but as its a manual, and not sure of what was actually taken off the donor vehicle im not sure the purpose of the control unit. can i bypass it and if so, how? the power out feed for the relay feeds an additional relay as he is running two fuel pumps and i wanted to err on the side of caution and not overload the stock relay
