AS/NZS 1425:2007 any one familiar with this standard ??? for lpg conversions.
just wondering the requirments for spacing around the lpg tank from chassis and any specifics on securing the tank and so on cheers

Not sure on all the specifics, but probably best to mount behind the seats like mine (do a rig search on The Gas Bag if you need). Dual fuel is a so-so option on such a small motor, best to sort straight LPG so you can tune for a particular fuel, otherwise you have to tune for an average best and lose a lot of efficiency.

All I know for sure is LPG tanks have to be hard mounted (nothing removeable), and if you mount underside you'll have a tiny range as there's not much room to play with... I think I worked out 200 - 250 kms (on road) mounted underside at absolute best considering the clearances. Behind the seats I get ~550 from a 67L fill - much better, and I could've got a bigger tank in easy.

how big do u think u can go with the tank?

Well considering the chassis rails and safe clearance for the diff, I think the biggest underside tank was 30 - 40 usable litres... stuff all.
