As per the title, chasing a passenger side rear axle out of a SV model Vitara.
Also chasing a 5.12 12 bolt rear diff (just need the R&P and the passenger side side gear and part of the carrier, but will take the whole third member if need be).
Figured I may as well do the wheel bearings while I'm at it, so if anyone knows the cheapest source for them that would be great also. Think I remember someone on here was able to get them.
cheers,
Kris

Cheers shane, unfortunately that will be a 10 bolt. Pretty sure they went to 12 bolt in 94.
The 5.83 R&Ps stopped being made years ago apparently Greg from what I have read. Cant even get them from calmini themselves anymore. Think the jeep place needs to update its website.
From what I've been reading the 10 bolt centre bolts straight into my housing. Starting to wonder if I should just throw the locker into that centre and be done with it. Hrmmm.

What is your standard gearing???
Swapping to 10 bolt would be the easiest, then you only need an axle and swap the front gears over.
I might just go for some 4.8's out of an auto GV, newer car should have gears in better condition.

Ahh yes, that rings a bell. Cheers dude.
If I sell her I'll let Joe have first dibs on the centre mate as he sold it to me for a good price to begin with. If he doesnt want it (find out tomorrow) then its all yours.
Gah now I dont know whether to use it or sell it haha.
I always forget what the standard SV ratios are Greg. They are either 4.6x or 4.8x. Get the feeling they are 4.88s. If they are 4.8x want to buy mine haha?

I've got both left & right axels from a 95 SWB Vit, 26 spline, not sure what the SV is though. I've also got a front 4.3 R&P if your looking.
