depending on a lot of things 45 degree can be too much, the closer your shackle gets to horizontal the lower your spring rate gets

to much angle and it will pop over and jam against the chassis too

I was always told 30degree by spring people but have a play and setup what works best, remember there is more to it all that suspension droop

so the factory set up doesn't have much droop? my factory shackles are at about 90degrees with the factory springs does that seem right?

i think the carry and super carry are pretty much the same thing and its carry rears.

don't know about the mazda stuff as i haven't done it yet but they are longer all round, i'm looking at getting some springs tomorrow and putting them in. some people have said the 808 spring in the rear move the diff back 7 mm and other say it way out of wack and have to redrill.

in looking for 808 in the front and 323 wagon in the rear with ext shackels lenght that will sit at about 45. hopfully i can find some springs. i was going to go hilux leafs alround and put new spring hangers in but its to much work for now and my welding is crap :)

correct me if im wrong, but dont you need to do a revers shackle to the front if you putting the 808's in, that will also need some welding.. or a chassis extention

sr is only the way the spring is held in the car.

couldn't find any 8o8 springs and the wreckers around here wanted 120 + labour to pull out the 323 springs so i didn't get any springs.

just played around getting a piazza engine in the engine bay.
