can someone please post a pic of where the steering damper mounts??? I can see where it mounts next to the steering box but cant see where the other end mounts. Maybe my car is missing something??? Please help.

cheers for that. but i still cant find the spot on my car. I have a suspicion that wherever that is, is not there anymore because the previous owner welded the bar on between the 2 chassis rails.

The mounting point on the tie down loop probably bent so might have been cut off because of that.

You could use the damper kit for a coily or jimny to mount your damper to the chassis rail. I have the 4 way kit in mine.

i cut it off so i could mount the winch further back. was going to run a hilux dampner setup. easy job. fab up or get some hilux mounts and clamp one to the bottom steering arm and weld the other to the top of the diff housing
