just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on running s/r for high speed events ? a few old guys are dead set that its the best thing since sliced bread and that the standard suspension setup is dangerous for offroad racing.
I have had this setup on 2 zooks so far and always changed back to standard configuration as i thought it sucked, even onroad.
Are these guys just a bit senile or should i listen to them.

If you have had success with standard format, leave it alone.

i imagine it being a bit like fitting the front truck on a skateboard back to front.... it works but it feels a bit wrong.

Well what was different about their setup to yours? Im sure if they setup a S/R it would have to outperform the original configuration for them to stand by it. Unless they are too old, blind and cant feel a thing.
