Can it be done easily?

The front mounts should line up but rear ones would have to be fabbed? Other then that is it a big job?

I'm humouring myself at the moment. Messing around with ideas and this is one that popped into my head

what year model ute shell? The early 1L cabs have different body mounts, and the small tunnel. The later model 1L utes and 1.3L utes have the wider tunnel and NT/WT body mount locations.

Havent got one lined up yet, the idea hit me this morning, but preferably a hard top (not maruti) with the NT/WT mounts. Guessing that would be a 85-88 model or somethign to that effect... fuck, dunno if they were even made then

mine is an 87. I think they were made through to 88

Anyway, if you do find one, check that the trans tunnel is the wider 1.3L tunnel. The body mount will be right then.

I can take that either two ways.

1) He has a flat head
2) hes fucking short.
