now i've got a vitara radiator in my sierra, i would preferably like to keep the clutch fan, i just don't have a radiator shroud, i believe one of these items are rather important esepcially 4x4ing, does anybody know where and how i can get one made? or what have other's done?

Mod/make fit the 1.3 one..

well i found that the only reason the vitara shroud now doesnt fit is because the fan is in a different place, you reckon just cut it up and glue it back together?

If you want bit's of shroud flying round the eng bay, than go ahead..

I was thinking more along the line's of some tin to make new mounting point's, or get a auto cooler/thermo fan fitting kit, thay have cable tie's og bolt's with fiber washer's made to go through radiator fin's..

You could cut and shut the original shroud, just use some thin sheetmetal and rivets to reinforce the joins. Or just make a whole new shroud, not too hard, just time consuming.

I don't have a shroud on the buggy and it doesn't get hot unless you cane the crap out of it for ages. It's a 1.6 engine with a 1.3 radiator.

cheers for the input guys, i'll see how no shroud goes, then if it causes me hassles, i'll attempt to make some out of the sheet metal we sell.

I cooked my 1.3 without a shroud on the beach. I ran a 1.6 on the same beach, same weather, same 1.3L radiator a year later and didn't have an issue. It should be too hard to make some basic brackets to move the shroud to suit the fan. Did you try both the 1.3 and 1.6 shrouds?
