i went into an arb dealer the other day and got a price on some OME springs they seem pretty cheap but they have a few different types which one would be the best to put on a sierra?

there are front 25kg and 26 to 75kg and for the rear there are medium and constant 100kg

i think the 25 and the 26 to 75 refers to the weight of the front bar but i'm not sure about the back

well in when ya think about it the lighter u go the softer ride and more flex u would get so the lighter the better right?

that what i was thinking but the guy said if you have a winch and winch bar you need the harder ones, i don't have a winch at the moment but its something that i'd like down the track and i don't want to have to change springs down the track

i was thinking maybe the medium rears all the way round

When I got mine I they had light , medium and heavy. I got medium and took leaves out to get the ride I wanted. I think thats the safest option. Whereas if you get the light ones straight up you can't really modify them (short of mixing your stock leaves in)

i don't want ones too soft because i dont want to lose any ride height they wouldn't much heigher than what ive got at the moment

get one set of med rears then put you old rears up front. will move your diff forward a bit and give you more flex with longer shocks.

I've got medium ome rears front and back. I wouldn't go for the heavy duty ones unless you plan on running a winch and carrying one hell of a toolbox in the back full time. What use is extra ride height if it means you piss blood after every pebble you run over on road. Unless your going for the bling maller look

So you can get single ome leaves to add to the pack? Are they just standard thickness leaves or are they like overloads? Might be an idea to level out the suzi lean. At the moment I've got some standard leaves mixed in but they don't have enough arch to match the lifted OME pack so the lean is still there. As for warranty I can't remember the last thing I bought that was car related that didn't have a void warranty within the week

all extra leafes for zooks that have a millitary wrap are the 3rd spring from the main. when u add extra springs of any kind they should be as long as possible, taking into account the millitary wrap, and thicker overload springs of a long length should be avoided, the small overload leaves are good for protecting the spring perch from arching too soon.
