If anyone knows of anyone selling a 1994 to 1995 Zook with a 1.6 efi conversion please let me know. i was going to buy another members car but he has changed his mind and is not selling it now.
This will be my first Zook so i want to choose one that will good to last me a long time. I need to get it engineered in WA so i can register it with a 1.6EFI.
Cheers

look clean, the only things i can see that are a bit off is front bar has been lifted for a bodylift but it appears that there is no bodylift installed when the pics were taken & the open pod filter apart from that it's pretty neat. the jerry can on the tailgate along with the larger spare tyre will be asking for trouble in the future.
how much?
how many kms?

It looks like a well kept machine. The thing that stood out to me was he's gone to the trouble of doing the engine conversion, but he's kept the standard sierra gearbox. The way to do it properly is fit the vitara gearbox as it is designed to handle the extra power. Hope that helps...

Shitloads of 1.6 conversions have been done with the stock Sierra 5 speed without problems.
I've run a 16v 1.6 and Sierra 5 speed for years and the only time I had a gearbox problem was when I forgot to put oil in it My opinion is that the stock 5 speed is fine for a 1.6 conversion.

Give me your keys.
I've had no luck with the sierra 5sp. Even after being rebuilt But to me its less work to stretch the tunnel and fab a gearbox x-member than to rebuild a 5sp sierra box, so I'll keep fitting vitara boxes
