Does anyone know if a throttle body off a 2.5 or 2.7 will bolt up to a 2 litre and if they are bigger
Coming from when I owned a crumpledore bolting a 5 litre throttle body onto a 3.8 litre was a good power up
And was wondering if this would work in the same way for the h20a
What are your thoughts.

May be bigger but without more fuel I fail to see any advantage

Better air flow and with a decent exhaust should get rid of its asthma?

x2 it may trick the ecu into giving more fuel, but how will the manifold flow to suit? Are the 2.7 manifolds larger?

What do these engines run? MAF or MAP? Either which way the stock ECU can account for a moderate change in air flow characteristics as it uses either of the sensors to calculate overall ingested air.

I'm sure it could be made to fit, but, the H20's intake is far to small & run's different sensor's, get a 2.5 or 2.7 from the wrecker's or the like, you'll be snapping axle's with the rest off em..

H20 ecu I'm told can run a 2.5, BUT you have to run the lil H20 intake for the sensor's, defeating the purpose of the upgrade, so, H25 & ecu would give you more than enough power..

why?
the airflow meter determins that not the throttle body.
more likely it could lower your airflow velocity at low revs and give less power down low

I'd love a 2.5 litre but can't justify it when my engine has nothing wrong I was just after a cheaper option to power it

Just have to wait until my engine let's go it's got pretty low klms so it will be a while lol

Is there any other cheaper options to get a few more ponies ?
