Hi all i have purchased a zook from stockman, HERE it has a 2" Suspension lift, and 31's, 6.5's, Mighty Kong, Fuel tank Guard, but i want too buy something else, what should i get?
1. Steering Stabilizer (What is the best one to get)
2. Smittybilt TJ 6" Flares ( Not Sure if Direct Bolt On)
3. Snorkel
4. Raptor Rubber liner for interior floor
5. Bucket seats
Which one do you guys think i should get, i might even be able to get 2 of them
What other things can you guys think of to get that will help me and my new zook? That will cost just under $500
Any Suggestions would be great.

u already have a well built zook there.
i would play it buy ear.... see what it needs.. full service etc, all oils.
make car reliable b4 modding it..

spend the $500 taking it out regularly and driving it!!.
too many people including me spend all their time and money modding more and more.
get out and enjoy it and then decide from there what you would like to improve.

x2 reliabilty come first I reckon.
i.e a locker won't be any use for long on rooted axles/diff

Cheers boys, Stockman is giving it a service (oil, Coolant, Filter) for me before he sends it off on Monday. Tell yer wat he is a bloody good bloke.

$500 in fuel = lots of seat time & then you'll know what it needs.

A calmini steering stabiliser is a good addition to the power steer

Well I won't offer advice because it'll probably be shot down minutes after posting, I will just give you the order that I did things and the reasons why.
1. all fluids & filters
*it was a farm car that had sat still for a while*
2. 2" lift & tyres
*original susp & tyres were sheeeet
3. Front Auto locker
*seemed like a good idea at the time*
4. bar & spotties
*bar was free, spotties were an impulse buy*
5. snorkel
*couldn't get through a bog hole cause it was too deep*
6. diff/gearbox/transfer breathers
*going through the bog hole made the oil brown....*
7. sound proofing
*well sort of... I managed to scam some geofabric for nothing and used a few layers. Makes highway time a lot quieter*
Somewhere in that list should also be engine/gearbox/transfer/swivel rebuilds but I only did them when I needed to. I've also serviced it a thousand times when there is nothing broke to fix.
The two upgrades that I am really glad I did were the snorkel and the sound proofing. The soundproofing alone mixed with a half decent stereo makes the whole experience of getting to and from play areas much more comfy (the a/c helps too!) although I'm not sure if you would notice on a soft top.

if you are planing on water crossing wich you proberly will
but like every one sayed drive it first then see what it needs but you prity much have every thing exept snorkel for the first mods

second hand arb bar, second hand stock bar or make one. If not that just drive it and get use to it. If you haven't driven a sierra before, let alone one with gearing it will take time to get use to it. It's good to learn it's limits first, then you can work out what mods can be done to improve the car.

couldn't agree with this more!
have done this with many other cars over the years (not 4wd's but some have been 2 years sitting in the shed)
So far i have refused to do this with the zook and have been happy with this. I take it out regularly and have a ball in it. Nothing is more fun than actually driving your car, its easy to get caught up in the mods and the snowball builds
