Anyone know anywhere inside aus that sells a decent shackle reversal kit? Looking for a cheap way to lift a sierra and just wondering if anyone is in the know.

Right down the bottom, Warrior Shackle Reversal. Would not be much to get it out here either. With my last order from these guys I was going to get a T/Case bucket, pretty bulky and that was going to less than $100 for shipping.

the low range one would be the cheaper option but you don't get as much with it, the calmini one it a 2inch lift kit so you get rear shackles too

this the the low range warrior kit

its well built stuff that fits like a glove and does exactly what it says it will do

but we know lifting a sierra 5" without any custom fab work is never going to be the best way and trying to get another 2" lift from stock height springs is going to mean massive extensions on other bits

1 size fits all sierra suspension really finishes at your typical OME, EFS, Kings ets kits and after that you build what you need to suit you, a kits just never going to work

and just longer shackles on the back or how does it give lift that would just make the front stick up?

It would probably not give a huge amount of lift. The shackles are included and don't seem that long. So you may not nheed longer ones in the back.

Don't forget it will also put your castor way out wack. Wedges may correct this though.

Why did you ask about where to get a shackle reversal kit before you knew what one was??

If you are just looking for height I would do what royce said a put a body lift in. With some 2 inch springs you will clear 31's easy.

the calmini kit comes with the longer rear shackles
i'm not sure about the low range kit it probably doesn't give any lift

why are you lifting you car, run bigger wheels, want more flex or just the wank factor?

if its to run bigger wheels go a 2 inch body lift, with a bit if guard bashing will fit 31 inch wheels.

if you want more flex the easy thing to do is 2 inch lifted springs and pull a leaf out of the packs and go from there or 2" in the rear and the old rears up front will flex more but has a bit more work with that. you can get heaps of flex out of the car before going a s/r

pretty much a mixture of the three. I dont really want to take to my car with a hammer that just doesnt go down well with me yet so i sort of wanted max legal lift cheap and i thought this was a possibility.

just get some springs and a body lift its all fair easy to do and it can be done on "the cheap"
people use commodore rear shocks in the front and hilux rears in the back
they have a lot more travel and its cheaper than buying rachos that are like 150bucks each

Putting new springs in the rear, old rears in the front, Supercheap shockies (commo and hilux), new u bolts and spring bushes, extended shackles and a bodylift can be done for $800 and would take you a full day to install.

once again if you put the rears up front do the original rears have to have anything done to them (reset at stock or higher)? or can i just pull it out paint it and stick it back under there

take off the load leaf.
i got efs 65mm springs and they were a bit too high so i took the second leaf out of the new ones and put them at the bottom of the old rears

nah you have to do that aswell because when you put the rears in the front it moves the front diff forward too much so redrilling the mount on the diff will move the back so it doesn't stuff up your steering
