if you actually do, use a paintless dent repairer, much cheaper then a panel shop

My golf is in having all the pock marks removed by a hail damage mob - Will be interesting to see how effective they are.

You'll be surprised how expensive those dent removers will charge you. The panel shop I used to work at used to get charged $150 a dent. That's right $150 what a thief he was.

I've done something similar with dry-ice and it worked a treat on a small dent on the jimny. Same principle, it frezzes it, the metal contract and pops the dent out.

Its not great for hail dents though, as they often deform the body work and paint, this is best for rounded, shallow dents, rather that small deep ones like with hail.

$1000 bucks to get all the dent out on one side, plus a new bonnet another what about $350 non genuine, then the issue of the roof, then the dents you can't get out, then the re-spray. Not worth in IMO maybe just a new hood for me

it will only work if the metal has not streched.
once strech has happened even if you pop the dent it will leave a ridge high or low.

liquid lpg works well too
