Hi guys i found this alternator kit on ebay HERE i would like to know if this will fit my zook, it is an sj70 with a 1.6 Baleno conversion (Stockmans old rig)

It says it is for a 1.3 Suzuki Samurai. it is around $280 for the kit including delivery to Australia.

I spose if it will fit it would save the hassle of finding all different pulleys and stuff.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Conrad

you will have to stuff around with pulleys for that conversion.. pretty sure the baleno have a multigroove setup, so you would have to change the alternator pulley

look for a falcon alternator... pretty sure that it will fit

Yea, I used to wonder why you upgrade to a Falcon altertnator.

I now know.

I've got the biggest battery that would fit in.

I don't usually drive at night, but had to drive on dirt roads for an hour
the other night. I had on two spotties,a overrflow sixpack cooler, two gps's,and a uhf radio.

Pulled up for a while, and the dickhead I let drive while a drank some well earned liquid, left the parks on.Fuck'n thing wouldn't start.

My vehicle has been dyno tuned, and fired straight up with a bit of a push.
I'm very old, and veery tired, Ivm gunna disconnect one spot light first, and see if that solves the problem.

bye

Going to be putting Hid spotties and stuff that need the extra oomph. I dont think the baleno alternator will suffice.

So will a falcon alternator bolt straight up? or will i need to change pulleys and F&&ck around with that stuff. What model for alternator?
