Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone would happen to know the maximum tyre size and width I could expect to fit under a SV420 with a 2 inch suspension lift. I was also hoping to use the standard 16 Inch three spoke alloy wheels if possible. I have seen LT225/75R16/E on a SV620 and would be happy if I could fit these LT245/70R16/D. 235x75x16 seems to be about as big as you can go with no bl they measure about 30 inch

Many thanks for your response! Would you happen to know if fitting 30's will play with the gearing too much? I notice that most people running 31's on the SV's have opted for 5.12 centers! Cheers!

I was running 225/75/16s with a 2" lift and the gearing was still fine. Stepping up to 265/70/16s slowed things right down however.

Depending on what you want to use it for, I'd say the 225/75/16s were a pretty good size for the car. No scrubbing at all, they fit fine on the stock rims, and fuel economy didnt really suffer either.

This is with the 2" lift and 225/75/16s on it.

I run 225/75 16 bon my 2000GV and all i had to do was remove the rear mud flaps and they cleared.
