I have read on this site that some people use vitara lines, Others have said they are too long and use some Hyundai lines.

Anyone got part numbers or yeah of manufacture of either of these? Esspecially the Hyundai ones

Are the vitara ones really too long? Obviously being a zook owner i am after the cheapest option that works. Rough budget i am looking at? i am thinking cheap as possible.....

sgouldnt cost more then $60 to get one made up to whatever length you want

Average cost is around 30 a line to get made up for rubber ones..

Or i used these braided ones for $80 bucks from the states.. Just need to check if you need 3 or 4 lines.. They will do any length you need aswell

Just be wary that these are unlikely to be covered by ADR's, which if can be shown to be the cause of an accident will void your insurance pretty quickly.

I'd be more inclined to find some locally made that comply to local rules... I am not saying they arent to the same quality, just that they are unlikely to comply.

Head out to Power Brakes @ Gilles Plains & they'll be able to make them up at any length for way less than $200.

I dare say most of the mods on my rig arnt legal and would void my insurance. Either way they do the job

mods don't usually void insurane... mods that caused an accident do.

Off topic but does anyone actually know the required ADR's for brake lines.. This has a few numbers stamped on it, be keen to see if its legal.

awesome will work out cheaper than expected. Might go those braided ebay items from the states. adr pfft i live in sa....any mod here is legal until you get caught, then no mod becomes legal! so ill just get a set of black lines.

Braied would be better as i wont cut them as easy on rocks n crap

If you dont inform the insurance company of them they do. Even things like a non stock stereo. If they want to be pricks about it theyll tear the car apart and shoot you down pretty quick.

In my experience with accidents in 2 modified cars and a couple of mates. Insurance will only be void if the mod's directly/in-directly contributed to the accident.

As far as stolen cars go... You will only receive funds for what you have listed on the policy.

2 to the caliper's, some have 2 to the diff, others 1, 2 from body to chassis...
