G'day,

month or more ago i went through few muddy paddles. after a good wash and hosing inside of the drums as much as i could i still have that noise/squeak from rear right drum.

noise is revolution related. with each revolution of the wheel i can hear something rubbing or engaging and disengaging. It sounds to me like shoe or something else attached to the spring was touching/rubbing something than loading the spring than releasing.

I can't feel that through brake pedal, because front rotors are a bit distorted, hence i have pulsating brakes anyway.
that noise started after one to many mud paddles and was fine before.

i had the rear wheel bearings done 2 weeks ago and told in the workshop that brakes should be fine, but if they find something wrong with them let me know.

drums were rather clean and they didn't indicate that anything was wrong.
when they assembled everything together hand brake is engaging very quickly not at the end as it used to be. it seems to be tighter.

anyone have any ideas what it could be and what should i check?

thanks
kris

if you jack up the squeaky wheel and have it in neutral, and spin it by hand, does it still do it? or is it only under drive???
