i've been playing around with my 32/36 weber and i set the idle mixture and idle speed and now it seems the secondaries are working at idle is there a way that that can be adjusted? are the idle speed and mixture the only settings that can be adjusted on these carbies?

you can pull em apart and change just bout everything in em if you want

secondaries arent working at idle, the whole barrel wont work till air is going through and air wont go through till the throttle is opened right up

If you dont already have a Weber manual then its worth getting your hands on one. The best one I have seen for a suzuki is from here: http://www.suzukiinfo.com/

If that manual is not suitable then maybe you need one from here: http://www.weberbbq.com.au/ :)

What makes you think the secondaries are working at idle?
They are mechanical and only open when you press the throttle down far enough.
A well tuned weber you wont use the secondaries much at all and youd be suprised how economical it is if you stay out of them.
What motor are you running, have you done a plug test to check if you have the air/ fuel mix right?
my 1600 was jetted at
primary/ secondary
idle 55 50
main 140 140
air 175 170
aux 3.5 4.5
e tube f50 f50
This set up gave me a nice light brown colour on the plugs.
Which is also very close to the suggested set up for a 1300.
I now run a 38 syncro with 70 idles 140 mains and 170 airs.
