Somewhere I have read that Sierra and Hilux have the same thread on the brake lines. Will be moving diffs and stuffing around with suspension soonish and will need longer brake lines.

I have a some of my brake lines off my lux sitting in the shed. Both stock and extended. They have been sitting there for almost two years.

Would they beany good? Anyway to clean them out properly? Was just thinking of a flush when I install them.

The brake lines should be ok, just give them a blow out with compressed air. Just check them for cracking or perishing though.

You will find most vehicles run the same thread these days , beware , if they look dodgey don't use them , if there is one thing you don't muck arround with and that is brakes , Cheers Paul.

$35 a brake line 100mm longer at my local brake and clutch :wink:

Took the old ones in, then they made some up 8)
