Thought i'd stick this in here...

I made some control arms using the "pin" end of my old ones and the bush end of some standard control arms.

The small tube is 32mm round, and the bigger tube is 32nb, so the bigger tube slides over the smaller tube.

I ground the ends down with a V shape in between the end and the tube and then ran a weld filling in the V shape.

I did the same with the other bush end.

Then cleaned up the weld to make it flat so i could slide the bigger tube over the outside.

The bigger outside tube is longer than the smaller tube so it covers the other welds and i welded the bigger tube at the ends. Before i put the big tube over the small tube i drilled some holes along the sides and then weled them up once the tube was on.

ey mate i was looking to do somthing similar...how is drivibility,and travil?with just one mounting point to the diff??

if you look closley it has 2 upper arms locating the diff as well
