Does anybody know if 1 litre diff side gears are available new? My Lockright arrived today and the donor 1 litre diff has badly worn sidegears which won't work with the couplers. The front is already a Lockright but the welded rear has been too hard on transfer mounts. The annoying thing is the diff I welded had decent side gears.

Factory Suzuki? Maybe see if you can get the Lockright side gears or just may have to bite the bullet and buy another diff.

I did the same and got lockrights without side gears. Hoping I don't have the same problem as you.

Couldn't even talk to a Suzuki dealer without a VIN no. but I have one now so I'll try again.

Ha ha tried at the local Suzuki dealer and you need to buy side gears as a set with 4 planetarys and cross shafts and they are $545. I had to tell him that gold gears would be too soft.

Tried a 2nd diff and the side gears are worse! Also lockright don't make sidegears for them.Looks like it'll stay welded till I get good ones.
