I know there is probably a heap of threads, but searched and couldn't find much.

Going to order tyres for my Sierra tomorrow. 33's.
What do you recommend? Will be used on mud. Wet and dry.

KM2's, KL71's, toyo open country MT's, Bighorns (great value), can't go wrong with these. And all of them drive well on road.

If this is accurate.... You can't go past Silverstone MT-117 Extremes or Simex Extreme Trekkers(Centipedes)

I can vouch for them, surprisingly good in the wet for a muddy..

simex arent so crash hot on dry mud IMO.

i cant fault my KL71's compared to my KM2's - given the massive price difference i'd be inclined to recommend the KL71.

I've had silverstone mt117 xtremes in 33" for a couple of years now.
Drive with bigger cars running mainly bighorns and KL71's.

When it comes to sloppy mud or slippery clay, the silverstones always outperform... End of story.

If this is your main type of driving them the choice is simple.
However if you like to cross terrain into beach word or plenty of onroad, consider your options.

no comment?... they were great on the road and pretty good on rocks but sucked bigtime in any kind of moisture. Moph is still using them and theyre serving him well though.

im not a cooper as u proberly realised, tho a mate runs them on his cruiser and now his patrol, they are great on the gravel and dry rocks, also pretty good in the sand but they deffinitly wernt much chop in the mud, hence y he bought jungle trekkers

they are now... when i got mine they werent tooooo bad, cant remember how much i paid. I know it was above average but they were cheaper than BFG and MickeyT.

For their price theyre definitely not worth the money.

33's bring the big bucks... Cheapest i found years ago was the nankang@185each. And thats what i got. The only bad thing is that they are undersize, But overall, I never had a problem with them rubbing them on rocks, no punctures etc etc. Sold Suzy with fronts with at least 80% left.

I would of got them again if USA wasnt cheaper.

Kuhmo's were dear. Nice though.
