Hey guys looking for someone to help fix my zook iv done a head gasket so I think the head is gone but I have another complete 1.3 engin sitting hear and was wondering if I could pay someone to swap the heads over I got quoted 600 to get it done if anyone can do it for cheap that would be sweet cheers guys. You would almost be better off swapping the engine if it's a good runner mate. If you do just the head you 'should' get the head checked for straightness and cracks etc, plus new gaskets along with bits and pieces like timing belt kit possibly. Just my 2 cents anyway.

Yer I'm not to sure on way I would have to do I'd love to learn I was thinking about doing a swap but the other engin I have has about 90,000 more km than mine

I think it would be worth doing things like waterpump, timing belt and getting the head checked when changing the head gasket.

I would be changing the head gasket on the current engine rather then putting in the other higher km engine as the same thing may happen down the track on that one.

yer man landsdale in wa and i hade a mate check all that stuff and its all sweet due for a timing blet soon i think but but yer i dont think i wanna do a complete engin swap just the heads
