Hey guys the missus is letting me choose my own present for our 2 year anniversary im and leaning towards a GME TX3220 radio and a AE4018K1 antenna to go with it.
Think this will be a good general combo or should i go with something else?
Cheers

I've got both the 3200 and the 3220, both good radios. The 3220 is the newer one that is apparently dust-proof. We have well over 400 of these radios and rarely have issues with them.

Check out http://www.prestigecom.net.au/ I've noticed that they're usually cheaper than buying one in a shop.
Mine is the Uniden UH015sx which has a relocatable face, And I bought an external speaker, I think you should have a look at the UH500sx, It'll fill up that empty DIN spot under your stereo.

So you reckon thatll be the go people for a general all purpose radio? The TX3220 with a AE4018K1 antenna and maybe an external speaker too for another $20?
Seem like a good deal for $362.90 deliverd?

absolute bullshit. they arent that big coz they are stupid. if they could buy them $30 rrp cheaper from prestige they would. they would buy them from china directly, the same place as prestige would buy them for a very similar price. just tell them to keep it. they can match it, just dont want to.

true, but you gotta remember that an online store doesnt have as many staff, doesn't have to pay for a store front and usual dont pay half as much in advertising etc

ive currently got the gme TX3420-5 watt 40 Channel in my sierra. seams to work well i got it of a freind and i know that it did a more than sufficient job on his cruza. biggest advantage of this radio is that it fits in the sierra ash tray hole. (without detaching the face witch is also an option)
my old man had a uniden in his cruza when he sold in and his new car got a GME TX4600 - 5 Watt 40 Channel we tested this on the stock route, over 5km with the radio that i have (the actual radio i have) and both were recieving loud and extremely clearly. both GME radios were using those arials ther are just a strait wire with a spring bent in it (soz idk witch one).
In MY opinion GME is better
hope that helps
