First plan was to put a v6 commo engine and auto box in, have got them, bu now decided that its heavy and big and the jimny engine is small and light and handles being put on the limiter all day

only problem is, a jimny auto is like $1200, plus im not sure if i can even get one for the g13bb thats in it.

any help would be nice because i have know idea about the zuke engines/boxes.
im looking for cheap and least amount of mods needed.

upgrade to a g16b we did that on ours, made a massive difference, also if your worried about an auto, pull it out and replace with a manual,
oh and im lookin for an auto for mine,
but the g16 is deffinitly worth the effort

Sell the crumpledore motor and parts for whatever you can get. Then buy a G16B and auto. Then flick the BB. I'd be suprised if the whole exercise owed you more than $1K. You'll have more power and torque, and an auto that can hadle it. And you'll only be 20kg heavier!

Iv been told I can bolt my 1.3 head to the 1.6 block so I can then use the auto. And then run the 40"s

I get the impression your car is comp only? That being the case you could also consider a Trimatic from a carby vitara. No wiring, lots of available cores, plenty strong.

The AW-4 is hands down the better auto, but as much as anything because of the overdrive and lockup converter, neither of which are important in a comp car.

Either way, you'll need a 1.6 bottom end, or a vitara conversion plate used back to front.

The Jimny auto isn't the best choice for your application - mostly just because of cost.

Yess definitely comp only. Need an auto for it and really want to stay Suzuki. We do have a commo v6 and auto if it comes to putting it in, but it's a lot more weight and will wreck the really good COG
The trimatic auto sounds alright, but will more than likely go the AW-4

I'll call my importer tomorrow. I have 3 or 4 front cuts on order. No idea if they will turn up or not. There is usually an auto or 3. All AW4's.

I usually sell most of them before they arrive. Occassionally I will do a conversion myself.

Its never the right price mate. They are almost getting too dear for me to bother, since they are so hard to fin over there nowdays

But they do have low km's (under 80,000) and they are usually late model X-90 variety, so they have the good dizzy etc.
