only for dick heads who over tighten the mounting bolts, never had a drama with mine yet , altho I have seen a set break on the mounting points due to overtighting and stress

But yours also have brush bars on the outside of them, plus i have read other posts of yours where your car is your 'show pony' and that it rarely gets driven.
with no other form of protection, they wouldn't last too long with my driving style
