Hi guys, my clutch is starting to get pretty light and seems to be slipping :x a fair bit. I am going to check the adjustment and ensure that that is all good first, but i would like to keep a spare clutch just incase i need it.

My question is where is the cheapest place to buy the EXCEDY clutch to suit the Baleno G16B Conversion. Also please inform me of the part number of this clutch.

Also i read somewhere that there was a company that sold a different named clutch but infact it is an excedy one.

Thanks in advance

Conrad

Can someone please confirm this?

Thanks anyway

You want a sierra clutch.

Don't go heavy duty. Many problems. Just search alittle.

I used stock sierra clutch with the bal motor and sierra box, Didnt have a problem.

New one i have here is from lowrange. Petroworks one.

The petro outer housing looks stock, but the clutch plate is half brass half normal material. They sound good, but yeah, yet to test. I got it with a big multiple part order, so works out cheaper than anything HDuty here.

is the suzuki samurai from the USA have the same 1.3L engine as the sierra here? Cos i may have stumbled across a full kit with pressure plate, Clutch disk, Aligning tool, spiggot bearing and throwout bearing for around $80+ Delivery from the USA. Genuine Exedy too

The USA Exedy Part number is 04104

Also found rear main seals for $7 each non genuine.

I wouldnt chance getting a non-genuine rear main seal, especially when its only $7, you get what you pay for... ... best to get genuine :D

Yep, seen a few people on this site having to replace a non-genuine seal not long after their new clutch went in... Alien is one of them I think.

i've mentioned before - a stock jimny clutch fits a sierra and has a higher pressure without the heavy pedal... i'm on my 2nd and love it.

as others said - buy genuine seals - non genuine is why im on my 2nd clutch - cos a seal leaked all over it =(

My heavy duty is the ducks nuts.

My non-genuine rear main lasted a few days.

Id try Bursons for a price on the clutch if you have one over your way...

Confirm the part number and I will get you a price if you want one.

It will be more than $80 I can guarantee you that! If you run reduction gears in your tranny there's no really need for a HD clutch as the load on the clutch plate is actually reduced or kept the same dependant on gear ratio and tyre size.
