hi
i have an wt sierra with the handbrake on the rear drums and na mate has an old diff out of his sierra (think ti is an 88 or 89 model ) and his handbrake is on his transfer case . no i want to can i put is diff in my sierra as i have an almost stuffed diff , and same goes for the transfer case .

note thay are both soft tops and leaf springs

his might be a NT so the diffs are narrow, yours is wide track so wider diffs.

You can pull his diff centers out and put them in your wide track housings, and you can use his transfer case aswell, all bolts straight up, except the NT and WT drive shaft flanges are different, you can swap flanges or just use his drive/tail shafts.

also one other question. the front diff is it an straight swap for the rear diff center to fit in my front diff or do i have to do some modes to the diff

It's not a straight swap. The side gears are 22 spline in the front and 26 spline in the rear. It will physically bolt into place but you won't be able to put the axle shafts in.

Don't NT's and WT's have different diff ratios too?

yes they do, thats why you need to swap font and rear together

so i just use the sotck front axels or do i have to do somthink eles
