This internets showed me this just a few minutes ago... CI TROA specialize in producing and manufacturing aftermarket metal body panels. Looks like they have a large range of replacement panels.

there used to be a guy in NZ making fibreglass sierra panels, i think it folded though???

But you can source new panels from maruti in india, thats what suzistore do when a new panel is needed.

cheapest bet would be to cut some out of a wreck, i took a hardtop to the scrapheap on saturday or alternatively you could get a sheetmetal joint to press u up something.

Where I live is even more remote than Perth I guess it's back to the old car roof panel and body hammer trick - It just takes so long to beat by hand

just be wary the tunnels on some 1 litres are narrower than 1.3's so the panels for a 1.3 might need some work

Struth !!! $450 is abit harsh. The pannels seem a reasonable price, we are just waiting on a quote for the freight, that may be the killer.

i got a quote for fenders!, $150usd ea, pretty sure thats without postage, a whole lj81 tray is like 1200usd D:, and i think it was $1000 postage for all :/.

Didn't know they did trays, I asked about Sierra trays and they said no. Still 2500 for a brand new tray thats unobtainable elsewhere isn't that bad

No I shipped an antique telescope from the US last year - Bigger and heavier and it cost me US$120 - $450 is expensive.

i shipped 4 33 inch tires from the US for around 200, and that was air frieght with fedex.

i would find some one in colombia who can ship them to you for a small fee.

im mainly after front guards , bonnet and radiator support panel to suit a LJ50 and a set to suit a LJ80.

i dont think there would much parts over this way and to freight them from over east would cost a bit.

freighting them from colombia is gonna cost me, trust me.

it might be worth looking into it. i have a complete 80 and complete lj50 front end i could sell, i doubt you would wanna spend what they would be worth to sell

Digging this back thread up...

I had a thought. If enough people were interested a group buy could prove economical. Packaged into a crate or large skid.

The postage could be split in proportion to the dollar cost of the item ordered. Delivering within Aus could be tricky though.

I'd interested in a panel or two.
