I would have thought $5K isn't much under what an 11 year old Jimny was worth before it was damaged?
What do you want it for? Parts? As a driver? If it's a driver, as the ad says, check what you have to do to re register it, because it might not be much of a bargain.
Steve.

Ask for more info or go have a look at it, it seems a little dodgy as there's no photos of the front end. Although I think you're better off finding a better jimny

possibly meant QLD floods?... that being the case, why wait 4 months before deciding to sell it as a write-off?

I dont think there is such thing anymore, new rules make em all unrepairable?
either way its a waste of time trying to get em re registered, especially on a car like that

being this long the diffs are prolly full of water and corroding as well as all teh bearings and seals.
in perth you can pick up a 2000-2002 jimny cheaper than you can get a 1995 sierra! (around $5-6k)

its a 99 so it should be exempt from the write off register, that is only for cars 10 years old and newer if I remember correctly (its either 10 or 15, i think 10 but could be wrong)
