hey guys i was just wondering if a 92 barina engine would bolt straight in to my sierra i have heard they do but just want to be sure.

okay thanks for that just wanted to make sure and im about to get my carby rebuilt anyway so that will work out thanks for that.

Might have to swap the sump, oil pick up and mounts to.

okay well i will just check it all i when i put it in and then i will go from there my main worry was just if it lined up with the box

I believe the distributor will also need to be replaced.

The cam needs to be changed to put the sierra distributor on. You will also have to change alternator or alternator pulley, inlet manifold, fuel pump, water pump or put a thermo fan on, crank pulley if you change water pump.

Well i have the 110 ford alt so thats not a problem a already run a thermo ill change manifold when carby is finished so that just leaves the camshaft and how hard is that to change

its easy, just remember to remove fuel pump first and remove the pin which is driven off the cam shaft.

If you forget to remove this pin, you will have a hard time removing the camshaft and end up damaging the head.
