Do late (1996) Maruti's run a 4.11 diff ratio same as 1.0 Sierras?
If yes, are the centres interchangeable? Axle splines same?

if its a WT style Maruti it should be all 1.3 sizes

Yes. 411 on the 4.1's

Same size hemi and 3rd as 1.3L sierra. Flange pattern is apparently different, but thats easy fixed.

How do you know if you have a wt maruti, without looking at the springs, mine is a MG410WT, but is an NT, I was of the belief that all Marutis of late were the same model code, so all were NT, all were 1l, so all the same.

The new ones, that we have heard ar coming out maybe true WT.

Mine was a WT. A TRUE WT (whatever tha means )

94 was the change over year, so anything from 95 onwards should have WT diffs and spring spacings amongst other things.

I would also assume that Maruti did as suzuki have done since forever, by using mix and match parts from all the models at the crossover point. So if yours is a 94-95 it could be a bastard child.

92 is well before the changeover point, so its a NT with 1L sized diffs.

Yea mate, deff a NT, and the diffs are smaller in physical size to the drover. Thats why I have a set of WT diffs to go under, and need NT brackets placed on them.
When I was buying this thing, sight unseen, off a mate, he was telling me about the WT bit, and I was like woohoooo, but I got tricked.

I know it is geared funny, it goes really well, rev wise, with 31s on, 3,500 or so for 95k (GPS) 100k by speedo.

I pulled 215R15s off her, didnt test with the GPS before that, only got her, drove her home, at 90 or so, so must have been doing a lot less, lol, maybe thats why it took about 10 years to do the 900k.

Also all have a shit gbox crossmember so you cant lift the transfer with blocks.

NT flanges. allround. But even a jap suzuki wt lwb has nt flanges.

No. They are 1L's.

Marutis only ever came out with NT 1L diffs or 1.3L WT's. They were never made with 1.3L NT's.

NT and WT are the same physical size, only the WT have longer axle tubes.

Looking from the rear of mine, the center, pumkin or whatever you want to call it, is visibly smaller than the 1.3lnt I have. I know the only difference tween NT and WT in the 1.3l is the ratios and the axle length.

1l and 1.3l diffs are very different.

Also do the stock drive shafts fit to wt sierra transfer

mine says mg410 ... and its a wt 94 model
pretty sure june 93 was when the last nt were made, but were still rolled off the production line until early 94.

Yes it's the same physical sized diff centre but the ratio's differ. You'll need to pull the minispool out of the sierra 3rd member and fit that to the maruti one.

The drive shafts will have a different stud pattern to the sierra transfer. Swap out or redrill the flanges to suit.
