hey fellas just wondering what brand kits are the goods or if any kit available should be up to a set standard.??
ebay kits with water pump too while im at it?
got a price today for just a belt kit of about 110 then around 75 for a pump.
My sierra with g16b vit is due for its 200k

i think thats the brand it would of been,my lux copped the dayco kit from same supplier....BURSONS
the ebay kits are 103 inc freight for a belt kit plus water pump

What brand are the eBay ones?? Its not the type of thing you want to have to do again due to poor quality. In saying that, in this day and age it's probably all made in the same factory

Rusho is 100% with his comment, make sure you get good quality, even though it is only a few hours to pull it down and put it back together it is not worth saving a couple of dollars and taking the risk that it is poor quality and you have to redo it in a few months.

I got a GMB water pump and Gates timing belt kit from ebay. About $115 from memory. I posted it in the ebay thread. If he doesn't have them advertised he lists them for you. Very happy with the quality of them both.

The timing belt I got off ebay was a Bosch belt, I forgot the brands of the water pump and tensioner, but they work.
