Hi All,

As title suggests. Preferably in a condition that suits rebuild (cheap 8) ) as I have the lowrange seal kit and want to have a crack at rebuilding one.

You can even have my old leaky one back after I finish with it..

PM me if you can help out.

Cheers

Rusho

hey rusho, your going to find that this is different from anything else you have done, there is a spiral ball bearing system on the ram, that it a bugger to get in again  make sure your slow/methodical and put the BB's in a spot where they can't be lost. (or in my case i used a icecream container and i managed to drop the ram on icecream container and fly my 30BB's across the shed :( ) and you need to pull this apart to get to some more important seals. good luck :D

Precisely why I want another one  It would be my luck that I take out the one in it and the thing implodes bb's everywhere. That, and it would make my car kind of hard to drive to work without a steering box

Any other tips 31zook

The seals are weird also and there is O-rings under most of the hydro seals. and on my box (not sure about your's) where the pitman arm bolts up there is a hydro seal sitting inside of an O-ring, kinda hard to explain, but thats about it. and it will feel really stiff till you use it a bit.... Just like rebuilding a motor, gear box, tcase, diff, be patient, don't do it when your stressed, and take time.
