hey guys, i recently bought a vitara and found out the 4x4 doesnt work and im pretty sure its because the front hubs arent locking as the previous owners never went offroad in it, so ive pulled the outer cap off cleand up all the rust inside and put new grease in but its still not locking. also the spring is spinning inside the cover not pulling up an down like it should

ive done a search for any write ups on how to pull them apart etc but can only find info on sierra hubs, can anyone help me?

hubs are the same for the locking part so you can follow that

I had the same problem when I got mine.

Here's a good guide. Hubs are pretty much the same as a vit.
