I've got a VDO temp gauge that I need to find a sender for. There aren't any marking or model numbers on it. On the back "VDO Australia" is cast into the plastic but that's it. Any ideas?

try and get hold of a gauge tester.. all it does is vary resistance to earth.. with a gauge on the top to tell you where it is at.

once you figure out what the range is .. you shoukd be able to use that to figure out what sender unit you will need.

every auto elec shop that i know of has a gauge tester.
