Rotary into a jimny

Greets dudes and dudettes. A mate bought a Jimny that fell over from the auctions and he is gunna lop the top off it for a farm hack. He is a mechanical wizard that could put an F1-11 engine in a mini if he put his mind to it so I have no doubt he will have no trouble bunging a 13b into a Jimny (Would be 20b if he could find / afford one)

So he has some steep hills and lots of gravel tracks to play on (Harvey area) but im just wondering how he will go with the rotary. I love the rotors myself (a 20b at full song just makes my pecker hard) but cant imagine what a Zook would be like with rotoary it in ???

Any ideas

should be alright, still a relatively light vehicle being made even lighter so should go ok. probably be pretty thirsty but if he can get a cheap engine then why not. if its a farm hack put whatever engine you want into it.

the jimny drive train isn't overly strong that would be the only issue with a more powerful motor

this will be his biggest concern.

If he has the time space and money just do it. Would be a fun car if you can get the power through the drivetrain to the wheels.

I was speaking to another member from perth a few weeks ago who was planing on putting a sr20 into his jimny. :crazy:

But he;s not going to go any more cus of the whole weak drive train thing.

do it, should go pretty good just take it easy on the drive train, expecially if your doing alot of skids in 2wd

Defeats the purpose does'nt it? If you're going to rotor it, it needs to be flogged.

I was gonna jump onto the no torque train but if it is just a farm hack I reckon do it, its not like your tryin to win TT 2012. Would be so much fun on gravel roads.
