when i bought my zook it had road tyres on stock rims. i wanna put somthing with a more agressive pattern on it. mainly to get some more grip offroad but also whant somthing that looks decent aswell.
i was considerring putting some 30s on it because but i still have standard gearing and no powersteering. and to do so its gona be and extra $200 i need to spend on rims. what options would every one suggest.

so a 29 inch tyre

Yes.

235's are the biggest you'd want to run on stock rims. There's plenty to choose from in 215/75 as well.

235/75r15 would be ideal for the stock rims
Also I wouldn't go my bigger then 235 with standard gearing any way

what tyres would you guys recomend. my oldman said i am not aloud desert duelers and he will talk me out of coopers. (he has had the st and stt and isnt happy with them coz there wearing unevenly, but he is happy with the cooper warranty). what other options r there. i want somthing thats gona look

When I was looking I was told legally 235's cant be put on the stock 5.5 inch wide rim, minimum width is 6 inch, so I went for a 215r15 tyre, still 29 inch tall just slightly narrower, a bit harder to get though.

i wanna try and get away reasonably cheeply. under 250 i corner if i can pluss fitting and balancing etc. i also got 3 maruti rims (16inch) 2 have grandtreck's on em. i was tryna find another 2 of them (rims) but dosent seam to be possible.

Fitted to standard rims on a bog stock '91WT.

a mate runs them and he is a rough as with everything he owns.

as an example. it has been like this for a couple of years and he tows a 12' tinny with it.

Kumho KL71 in 235/75r15 - but once you fit them start saving up for reduction gearing.

coz he had two out of four blow out on him, went back to the place he bought them and told them they imediatly replaced them FROM A DIFFERENT BATCH and one of them blew out aswell. idk what a blowout on a sierra at high speeds is but i imagine its not prety. but they were desert duelers. so idk. what sorta waranty they have

I let mine down to 7 psi on 15x7 rims i have not have not had a issue with them at all, heck today i was on 8psi and been stupid cutting up in mud an gravel, no issues at what so ever.

I have some maxxis Bravo A/Ts on my feroza in a 29 and they go really good for the kind of 4x4ing I do (mainly beach work, the pines and some mud) and at I think it was $170 a tyre they are well worth the money.

if you want something more agressive you could go buck shots or big horns witch I hear are good tyres aswell especially if your on a limmited budget

I say bighorns too. Had them for over 2 years now and still have heaps of tread, got afew cuts in them but rocks will do that. I was running 30s on stock rims, the only problem was rubbing on the chassis. got 15x7s now and it was well worth the 300 odd bucks it cost
