Steering lock is wat breaks cv not lift
Its the Extra down travel from longer struts that makes the steering turn more which is wat causes the cv to run at a higher angle then it can handle
A set of v6 gv front coils and td Gemini front coils in the rear will give u 2-3 in lift
Std Xl7 strut(if u want a bull bar) with strut mount flip in the front
Commo shocks and a ball joint spacer in the rear an longer break line and diff breather
Adjust ur steering stops and u should have a cheap soft riding vit
There are 2 types of alloy diff, one is stronger then the other and it's only the way it mounts that is the problem
With new braced mounts they are strong enough to take 33 and a locker

Just got a reply back from Low Range and they said postage was $350 via DHL and $300 via Priority Mail to Australia for the OME lift kit.

Whilst I'm here, does anyone know of a cheap shock and spring set up (to get a 50 mm lift) that will bolt straight in a LWB Vitara? I've read into the commodore shocks etc, but is there something out there that you don't have to mod at all that fits straight in?

This whole idea of trying to sort out a cheap but decent 50 mm lift is giving me a head-ache...

Mate I'd grab the low range kit as you said u get all the stuff needed and unless u go trying to climb step hills and bouncing the car I doubt you will a cv

the later alloy diffs do have a bit more cast webbing/bracing around the pinoin area... but they're still weak as piss.

I'm not sure which model they come from but my mates supercharged vit on 33 has ran a alloy diff with modified mounts with out any problems for years. this car used to do alot of comps like this and has been his daily driver since new

Pic, had to put the hand brake on so it stopped sliding off. Has about 2 inchs more down travel in it

Greg's Alignment Solutions I think it was called. Regency Park. He did my CVs and ball joints.
