Photobucket won't work on my phone , would the air pipe from the hat going to the air box be affected if the bow or curve in the pipe sat higher than the carby hat ?

Not at all. With my body lift I had to modify the hat so it was almost a 180 degree bend from carby hat to air box.

I have flexy piping from the hat to the box frOm the hat so it doesn't matter if that's higher in any spots

What makes you think that it is sucking enough air?

Are you having problems with how the car runs? Like revs dieing down.. Car not starting??

have you check to see if anything was blocking the snorkel or if there are any kinks in the flexy hose.

as lockie said... pics.

This cold weather and high speeds can freeze the carby jets.
I had to run my Sierra with snorkle turned off,
thus sucking warm air from under bonnet,
when weather was this cold.
Stopping for a minute,
heat from donk would rise and melt blockage,
then off I went.
