Hello all, I just bought my first zuki, and the carb failed on me. From what I understand this carb was not run in the USA so maybe you guys can help me. Its a mikuni carb off my samurai. Also there is no vin to be found on it only chassis and engine #, how to I tell exact year it was made? I was told it was a 92. Or if anyone knows a good replacement carb for this that would be great, or where i can find a rebuild kit.

wont let me attach pics but i can email them if you would like to see the carb. only markings i found where mikuni corp and a metal tag that says 60A

Chassis and engine numbers would be helpful. XXX the last couple of numbers if you want privacy.

You say it's a 92, which should make your Samurai a 1.3 litre engine, but these had AISIN carbs, even outside the US. Mikuni carbs were used on the 800cc LJ80 and 970cc SJ40. The SJ40 1.0 litre as made by Suzuki was phased out by 1987, although licence built copies continued to be made by Maruti of India and Santana of Spain, although I don't know if either of these companies imported into St Kitts and Nevis

i was told that the square a/c vents means its above 88.5 for the year and i know the engine is 1300cc because it says so on the car. I have pics of the carb also along with the engine #. The carb says on it mikuni corp made in japan. I will get the chassis and engine # when i get out of class (vet school takes up most of my day :(. I know its a double barrel carb also. if you send me an email address i can send the pics. to big to post on here
