Square u-bolts for 3/4 elliptic

I been looking for square u-bolts that will fit on a sierra chassis rail tight. I have tried repco, super cheap, coventry fasteners, trade tools and bunnings.
Everything i have come across has been too short or way to wide

Besides getting them custom made any other ideas on where to try?
They would need to be a minimum of 150mm long x 52mm Internal width x 14mm
I've tried using the u bolts and spring plate for my lux front diff but they are too wide

carrols springs will make them for you for not too much

Shoe laces or gaffa tape will work just as well :lol:

What about if you turn the u-bolts on an angle.

Not right but it will work lol

tried any trailer shops? they have all sorts of wacky U bolts for attaching stuff to drawbars.

Idea Plate Botom And Top WIth 4 Long Bolts ..

Basicly same thing your doing now but not useing U bolts use Staight bolts that go into plate at bottom

I've got a set at home you can have ridge. my local supplier has them in stock. no plate just the U-bolts, nuts and they have individual plates per u-bolt.

I'll send them up to you for $80 bucks. i paid $17 each for them plus some shipping to you.

i was goign to use them to brace my old ARB bar but never got round to it.

I don't know of any shops like that anywhere near me.

Ill give carrols a try tomorrow and check prices.

thought of that and already tried it... U bolts would be stronger and less fidgety

make sure you put a locating pin on the leaf as well (ie: a bolt welded to the chassis that sits in the hole in the leaf spring) - just a bit of extra safety to stop any movement.

most suspension places can custom make you some u-bolts.

I just tried calling a local pedders, they said they cant do it

I called carrols springs, and they are making me a set which will be ready tomorrow $15 each with nuts and washers Armsup
