It's an Aluminium tray. Originally from an LJ81, so hence will bolt straight onto one of them. It may be suitable for use on something else, ie Sierra or Maruti or Daihatsu or a roof rack for VW Golf...

Dimensions are appropriately 1650mm, 1540mm wide. There are no tail lights etc. There is a notable dint in the head board which could be fixed. Has all 4 wheel guard pieces, and a spare tyre cradle that suits a 6.00-16 (may suit other sizes).

Looking for around $400. Located near Ipswich. PM or reply to this for more info.

Hey mate.

Looks like the head board and side rail are bent. So is the drop side gate. To fix these parts would require the entire tray to be stripped appart ( which is a C#@T of a job!!) And panel beaten. Given that its ally, it will always look like its been hammered straight.

Have a look on Ebay at how much these things sell for when in good condition. Its not much at all. I sold the alloy tray from my ute with sides and a torneau cover for $150! It also had rubber matting on the floor. Tray was straight. Had lights also.

$400-500 will get you a near new falcon alloy tray from the local rags or gumtree etc, with lights, no damage.

If you repaired it or made it into a trailer (after you repaired it) you could get some better money for it I reckon.

Headboard is bent. Dropside isn't, but your right, it looks farked in the photo :?

OK, I really didn't have a clue on price. I know my father priced around for crappy old alloy trays off Hilux's and most were around $800-$1000 second hand... So he built a steel one.

Well I'm open to any offers. If its not worth much, I got some steel to take for scrap soon, If I still have it then, I might flog it off for scrap aluminium.

I've scrapped a few alloy trays of similar condition to this one. Tried for a fair while to sell them first though.

Chuck it on ebay for 99c

Its not. Just list the ad with COD as the prefered payment option. There are fees accosiated with paypal, so its not legal for Ebay to force you to use paypal ( which is owned by ebay).
