If its pre 94 its most likely a 1L NT diff. So ANY 1L diff centre will go straight in.

Thanks guys, yer im running 31s so the ratio is 4.1 on the crown and pinion. There is some good news, ive located a replacement from a diff place in the Gong, reco for $275. Just have to find the time to instal it. As for the actual diff, im pretty sure its a NT 1ltr Sierra as I have another Maruti ute (91) and they are a larger diff centre. Meaning the bastard (91 Maruti diff centre) didnt fit. I was hoping to get to drive it this weekend and now looks like I will. Thanks anyhow.

I have 2 sets of diffs for sale in sale thread above. These were on my bros LWB 1LT. They may be the larger flanges?

Thanks for your help guys, but ive got it sorted for the time being. Im not sure what the front diff is like yet and may in the future have to sort your help again. Firstly im still not sure what diffs are fitted to my 92 which are very different from my 91 considering they are both Maruti utes 12 months apart, they differ considerably. Strange really. The 92 must have at some stage had a diff change. Im now the 3rd owner and have contact with the previous owner through the nsw suzuki 4wd club. The 91 is in very original condition, and im assuming (ass-you-me) this has been untouched as the diff centres do not fit into the 92 diff. As above when I bought the 92 it has 31s and running the 4.1, the 91 diffs im not sure the ratio. Maybe somebody out there could tell me the diff ratio of a Maruti ute of this period should be and ill go out and count the gears.
