Where would I find the reverse switch in a 91 vitara

Hi All,

I'm new to the forums and currently have a 91 vitara. My reverse light doesn't always turn on as I engage reverse gear, globes are all ok. So I'm leaning towards the reverse switch.

The car is an automatic, I have lifted the shifter and found two switches there but I don't think there it as the reverse light turns on.

Your advice and any pics would be very much appreciated.

my reverse light switch is on the actual gearbox and the cable runs up the firewall, but thats on a manual box..
mine wasnt working either and i got a replacement for a few bucks at a suzuki wrecker, but again manual trans...

it will be different between 3 and 4 speed autos also but on the 3 spd its in with the nuetral park switch i think

I've got a 3 speed, I lifted the gear shift to look down on the gearbox where I found two switches but it doesn't appear to be the correct one.
