Just putting this on it's own thread to see if I get more bites.

Looking to find piston ring options outside of the chrome OEM parts to suit a G16A, or even a G13A. Specifically i'm looking for ductile iron or cast iron jobbies, but i'll see what options there are first... if any at all. Atari has put me onto a business in Adelaide who might be able to help, but just seeing on here in the meantime.

I know Honda modders use G16A pistons with Honda rings in their turbo setups, but can't identify the car's they're putting them in. I can't find any piston ring specs for G13A/G16A motors either, so makes it near impossible to track down options :?

And would you guys trust this source for parts?

Chinese piston ring suppliers

FYI - Honda Civic rings will work, and they come in every type under the sun.

I'll go to Suzistore and get the ring specs and double/triple check if I can match em up

Not so much superior, just compatible for my needs. Zook OEM compression rings are chrome, i'm looking for something a little softer so I can bed them in running LPG.

Chrome rings need the wash of a wet fuel during their initial break in to guarantee optimum seal. For me to switch over to petrol for 5000Ks is just a PITA, so i'm trying to source alternative options
