lots of people do it.

easy if you're in to that kind of stuff.

worth it? I don't think i'd bother, if someone gave you the WT diffs already converted it might be ok, but for the extra width... i don't think it makes that much difference to anything, maybe just a cool factor?

How much work did you put in to yours and how much improvement did you get? Post up some measurements and photos.

go out all, get hilux diffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plenty of benefits!! Not a good pic, but their the same tire (32X10.5), but different rims (obviously).
I realise there would be heaps more work involved, but you get heaps better results! Inc Flex
This is zook front, lux rear

i tend to agree zookinatorious. That's what my original point was, i know people thinks that's "bullshit", but the question is, if it's actually worth it... and i don't think it is. It'd be about as usefull as extractors or twinsticks (heh here we go). sure you might get some gain, but are we talking about 5%? why bother? If you're going to swap diffs why not put bigger diffs under there while you're at it, to increase strength aswell. toyota, nissan, which ever. get some diffs with the same offsets as sierras. I'd probably go spring under with some lift, so it all would look pretty stock standard.

PS. Nothing wrong with a NT sierra, it'll go as far up a track as a NT with WT diffs. You can always get width with bigger offset rims if you want an easy option.

Replaced the original bar thingy with a bit of 50X50 RHS, with 2 bolts welded through it!! Their 8" apart. And yup, i know that bush looks yucky, all fixed up now though!! haha

Left thye original mounting brackets (as seen in the pic), welded back onto them.. and a small weld onto the chassis, where the original one was. Pretty much re-welded where the original weld was..

Well, not really for the diffs themself no. Got done for being to high and to wide compared to a stock zook. This is only cause we cant get things engineered down here :(
